Client Policies

The following policies apply to all clients of Emily Howe Holistic Counselling. Please familiarise yourself prior to booking and appointment.

Payment Policy
Fees will be invoiced and required to be paid 24 hours prior to each scheduled session. This investment is non-refundable. If payment is not made, the Counsellor has the right to reschedule the client's session until payment is received.

Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy
Where possible, the client agrees to give no less than 24 hours notice to reschedule a coaching session. Session payments are non-refundable and Emily will accommodate rescheduling to honour all payments made.

Confidentiality Policy
The client agrees that all information supplied by the client is confidential. The counsellor will not share information to third parties in relation to the client without their permission, unless the client, or any other person associated with the client, is considered to be in a serious or life-threatening situation.

The Counsellor is a mandatory reporter and is duty-bound to report such information to the appropriate authorities. Such situations may include suicidal tendencies, physical, mental or emotional abuse being committed on or by the client or other criminal acts.
